Gonge Tactile Discs are made of nice-to-touch synthetic rubber. Each of the 5 tactile structures can be found on a large disc for positioning on the floor, as well as a smaller disc for holding in his or her hands.

Create a challenge and ask the children what can they see, feel, and get thm to describe textures and colours – a good exercise is to ask them to describe the tactile nature of the surface – such as smooth, hard, spiky, or sharp.
