Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Sensory Surroundings. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.


All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

N.B. Large wooden items will have custom shipping charges calculated when your order is placed. For Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, a surcharge will also apply.

Please contact via email at; for a delivery quote and a unique invoice for your order will be created and emailed to you.

A large selection of our wooden products are made to order here in the UK. As such, these products incur a longer lead time of 15 to 21 days. Product delivery and lead time information is given on individual product pages.

A small selection of our products are not yet available to these locations. Where this is the case, it will be noted on the product description.

Gold Standard Delivery Service

We also offer a Gold Standard Delivery Service for some of our larger products. This service includes free delivery on a day of your choice following a standard lead time of 15 days. The furniture will then be unpacked and installed for you, with any packaging being removed afterwards. Where this service is available it will be stated on the individual product page.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. In rare instances products may need restocking. If this is the case we will contact you via email or telephone as there may be a delay to the delivery of your order. Delivery times may reach a maximum of 28 days for out of stock items. In each instance, where a delay in the shipment of your order is a possibility, we will always contact you via email or telephone.

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Sensory Surroundings is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

If you received your order damaged you may contact Sensory Surroundings to request a return or refund of your item. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Our Refund Policy provides detailed information about options and procedures for returning your order and obtaining a refund.



We currently do not ship outside of the United Kingdom as standard. Please contact us for international delivery quotes. These will be assessed on an individual basis for validity and cost per order.
